Quora Questions

I recently answered a question on Quora about Why God's name is not mentioned in The Lords' Prayer, my answer was that you don't need to know God's name, just say: Dear Lord.  I also said that many people don't heed the warning given, that says " Hallowed be thy name" and use the words God and Damn together to emphasize a point they feel strongly about. I said they were making a grave mistake.        This leads me to the point I have in mind, would God really hold something like that against a person? Many would say .,., no way .,., but if it wasn't important, why would the prayer start out that way? Not to mention .,., it's in the Ten Commandments.

Faykers

I know I spelled that wrong .,., but I can never understand the way the english language does things anyway. Cause when you spell it correctly it looks like Fakkers. Anyway, can you spot a faker by the text messages they send you? I think this applies to guys being approached by scammers with pictures of sexy women, for the most part. These "people" who are trying to make you believe they are some sexy woman always start out the same.,., Where are you from? they say .,., when it says where you're from right on your profile. Then they ask what your name is .,., on the profile as well. Then they use broken english, like: In your picture you are very handsome. C'mon man.

My life on a leash .,., or .,., How asbestos changed my life

Back in the eighties, it was common to go into buildings that were built in the fifties and sixties, and gut the interior, so that new walls and ceilings could be installed, using modern construction materials and techniques. I worked for an outfit that did just that. We would breathe the dust in the air, like a badge of manhood. Who could stand it the longest, without going out for some fresh air. I was a lead man, or foreman, so I had to stay at it, or get in trouble with the big bosses. These buildings were insulated with materials rich in asbestos fibers.         (to be continued) Amazon - John Young
